SFU-Publications Series

Sigmund Freud Private University is the first academic institution at which training to become a psychotherapist is an integral part of a separate academic programme. In cooperation with the Waxmann publishing house, the SFU has therefore been publishing the scientific series “Psychotherapie in Forschung, Profession und Kultur” since 2011. Within the framework of this series, psychotherapy science is to be illuminated not only through the approaches of the human and natural sciences, but also with methods and questions from the field of cultural studies, social sciences and the humanities. The aim of the series is to bring psychotherapy research closer to the profession of psychotherapy.
