The SFU’s research projects include not only projects funded by the SFU itself, but also numerous projects funded by third parties. Our funding bodies include the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG), the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the European Commission. Due to our broad network, the SFU has a special focus on international research. Some research projects are also carried out by several faculties as inter-faculty research projects.
